Roof Repairman Suffers Severe Injuries On-the-Job, Received $200K Settlement
The Law Offices of Nathaniel F. Hansford, LLC and our team of Atlanta workers’ compensation attorneys are proud to announce we recently secured a $200,000 settlement for our client. We have always been known as dedicated and trustworthy legal advocates for hardworking individuals who get injured on-the-job. This great case result marks yet again what our high caliber representation can do.
Our client was injured on-the-job as he was repairing a roof. He was performing duties as usual with the assistance of a hydraulic. Without warning, the hydraulic lift suddenly rocked and ejected our client, making him fall about 30 feet.
Major injuries our client suffered from the fall included:
- Fractured pelvis
- Traumatic brain injury causing memory loss
- Upper and lower extremity fractures
Due to the severity and extent of his injuries, our client underwent several procedures conducted by multiple physicians. Even so, he is not expected to ever fully recover from the hydraulic lift accident. Each day, our client must learn and relearn how to manage the lasting consequences of his injuries, such as finding new ways to complete day-to-day activities with as little pain as possible.
Due to the harsh circumstances our client was facing, Nathaniel Hansford and his team knew our client needed a sizeable settlement to pay for medical attention, lost wages, and future care. Through our focus and continual efforts, we were able to secure a $200,000 settlement. Mr. Hansford’s client can now use this settlement to further his treatment, invest in new treatment options, and look for additional resources to help him in his day-to-day experiences. We are proud to know our services and representation have been integral in him being able to find peace of mind again.
