Law Offices of Nathaniel F. Hansford Represents Electrocuted Atlanta Worker
Two construction workers in Brookhaven were seriously injured when their
scaffolding partially collapsed and struck a nearby powerline. Carlos
Moran was severely electrocuted as a result of the accident. The strength
of the electrocution was powerful enough to stop his heart. A police officer,
Sarah Miller, was luckily near the scene and performed emergency resuscitation
using an Automated External Defibrillator. She was able to restart Moran’s
heart and save his life.

Hansford McDaniel LLC has taken the case for Moran
and his family. It is believed at this time that faulty scaffolding construction
led to its unpredictable collapse, throwing Moran and the other worker
into the powerlines. With a full investigation of the evidence at hand,
it might be found that Moran’s employer could be held accountable
for failing to supervise the site.
