Hansford McDaniel LLC Participates in Atlanta Mission 5K

Hansford McDaniel LLC believes in giving back to our communities and doing all we can to support those in need. With this goal in our hearts, we are once again participating in the Atlanta Mission 5K this year, having run it twice before.

Atlanta Mission 5K is an amazing annual event that helps raise awareness of the homelessness situation in Metro Atlanta and raise donations for this cause. Every registration for the race covered the cost to provide one person with shelter and services for one night.

Normally, the race is run through the city, which helps underline the feeling of togetherness. However, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has made it unsafe to gather in large crowds, especially when everyone is breathing heavily due to exercise. Not to worry, though. The creative people organizing the event have made it go virtual this year! We might be running in place and in the safety of a virtual space, but we are still in this together and bringing a lot of good to people affected by homelessness. The pandemic has made matters even harder on them, so this might just be the most important Atlanta Mission 5K so far in its 18-year history.
