Our office represented a Claimant who sustained injuries when she was hit
by an angry student who turned over a 5-foot bookcase that landed on her.
She was then attacked by this student, in which she was hit in the face,
and almost losing consciousness. The claimant injured her face, neck,
shoulder, and low back. This claim was treated as compensable, and she
began receiving TTD benefits. As for her medical care, the Claimant underwent
a lumbar L4-5 discectomy and neck injections.
